Found out my GeoCities page got 400 hits in one day in 1998 and I never knew till now
I was digging through an old CD-R my dad burned in 2001 and found a hit counter log from my old GeoCities page about my hamster, and it showed 412 visits on March 14, 1998. I always assumed like 3 people looked at it, my mom and two friends. Was there some kind of webring thing back then that could send that much traffic, or did I just get lucky with the guestbook??
