Am I the only one who spent 4 hours getting a single marquee tag to scroll right in Netscape Navigator 4.0?

I ran into this problem where the text kept bouncing back and forth instead of scrolling smooth left to right, and it took me way longer than it should have because I had to keep refreshing the page on a dial-up modem - has anyone else dealt with a simple HTML tag fighting you for no good reason?

Heard someone say IE4 handled that tag way better back then.
