Ugh, tell me about it. I was reading this article about how much of the early web is just gone forever, like the old GeoCities stuff. It's crazy how links just die after a few years. Even big archive projects can't catch everything, and it really does feel like sifting through trash sometimes. Makes you sad for all the dumb little websites we're losing.

Man, it really hits hard. I remember trying to find this old GeoCities site about classic cars, and it's just gone. All those dumb webpages with blinking text and midi music, poof. Even the Wayback Machine has gaps, so you get broken images and dead links. It's like losing a piece of history, even if it was silly stuff. Makes you wonder what else we've already forgotten.
