Used to blindly follow online tips for hidden spots like that. Always assumed if it got upvotes, someone had checked it out first. Your rescue story totally changed how I see those posts. Now I research way more and bring actual maps, not just phone screenshots. Really makes you think about trusting random internet advice.

Funny how the most upvoted tips are often from people who've never left their couch. Suddenly carrying a paper map doesn't seem so overkill.
