Spotted a 'Smokeless Coal' ad peeling next to a bike lane
I was biking and saw this faded ghost sign for 'Smokeless Coal' on a brick wall, right by a new bike path. Honestly, it's kinda hilarious that they called coal clean back then, and now the paint is probably toxic. What other old ads have you seen that accidentally joke about the environment?

Saw one on the side of an old community center last year. I mean it was wild, this happy kid just chomping on a windowsill. Took a picture and sent it to my local town council person. They actually looked into it and got the building checked. Nothing came of it for that place, but it got them talking about a survey for other old spots. Felt like the only thing that did anything, just making it their problem too.
