Static just sounds like broken junk to me. Rainy days are better with real music, not that fuzzy noise.

You know how I used to feel the same way? Then I got stuck in a crazy downpour outside Flagstaff. I put on this old Boards of Canada track, the kind with the warped tape sounds. The static in the music and the rain on the roof just melted together. It wasn't broken junk anymore, it felt like the whole storm was part of the song. Changed my whole view on it.
