Wait, really? I had the same thing happen with my skin. I mean, I got one of those cheap ones online on a whim, idk, maybe it's just me but the red light setting actually calmed my face down a lot. It didn't fix everything, but my skin stopped feeling so angry and hot all the time. I was pretty shocked it did anything at all.

Yeah, that "angry and hot" feeling blair_davis50 mentioned is exactly what the red light seems to fix for good.
