Reached 500 elevator rescues last month and it changed my mind about overtime

I hit 500 rescues last month on my 20 year record. I always thought I was helping people, but seeing that number on paper made me realize how many emergencies I've been running to. My wife pointed out I've missed 48 dinners this year alone. Now I'm actually considering switching to a slower maintenance route. Has anyone else had that moment where the numbers hit you different?

Take a weekend off and actually track how you feel without the overtime, @perez.christopher might think it's simple but your body and your marriage will tell you the real story. I've seen plenty of people burn out chasing rescues when a slower route would have kept them going another ten years. Those 48 missed dinners add up fast, you can't get that time back.

Honestly sounds like you're making it way deeper than it needs to be.
