Blindly bought a $30 portable monitor off Facebook Marketplace
Saw a listing for a 'brand name portable monitor' in Madrid for $30 and thought it was a steal for coworking on the go. Turns out it was a busted screen with half the pixels stuck on purple, barely usable for reading emails let alone any real work. Has anyone else had a random Facebook buy totally backfire while abroad?

Lol have you seen my setup? My $30 monitor is held up by a stack of old textbooks and a prayer. Honestly I'm surprised it even turned on without catching fire first. Sometimes you just gotta take what you can get when your budget is basically pocket lint and expired coupons. At least it's not a toaster with an HDMI port, right?
