Honestly that drives me nuts, I did a vector portrait in Illustrator last year and my boss asked if I just ran a photo through a filter. Like no, I spent three days on the eyelashes alone. He only got it when I showed him the zoomed-in layers.

Does it drive you crazy when people assume digital art is just tracing? I get that, because the detail work is insane and takes forever. It's like they don't see the hours you put in until you show them the process.
