Switched from plastisol to water-based ink after a shop in Austin showed me the difference

I used to only run plastisol because it gave me consistent results and I hated dealing with flash curing. Last month a printer in Austin let me try their water-based setup on a 300-piece run and the hand feel was way better on the cotton blanks. Anyone else make the switch and deal with the drying time issues differently?

So you tried a heat gun and slower belt speed for the clogging? I read somewhere that adding a little bit of glycerin to the ink helps it not dry out as fast on the screen. Saw it in a forum thread about keeping the screen from getting crusty during long runs. Might be worth trying if you ever do bigger orders. That hand feel difference though, it's night and day once you get past the setup headaches.

Heat gun and a slower belt speed fixed most of my clogging issues.
