Found my groove with prompts after years of false starts
My old attempts were scattered and unfinished. Now, I've completed a handful of stories, each born from a different prompt.

Compare your old scattered attempts to how prompts force a clear beginning and end. You're not just writing, you're solving a puzzle each time with new rules. Does that shift in mindset turn writing from a chore into a game? I bet finishing those stories felt like winning rounds.

Totally get that, but honestly sometimes the puzzle rules make me overthink and kill the raw fun of just letting a story wander, you know?

Does forcing a clear structure always help? Sometimes prompts are vague, and the puzzle feels unsolvable, which can be just as frustrating as wandering without direction.
