Found a 1997 Ford Ranger listed as 'farm fresh, slight moo smell' and I can't stop laughing
Last Saturday I was killing time on Facebook Marketplace while waiting for a load to pick up in Des Moines, and I stumbled on a gem. Some guy in Ames posted a 1997 Ford Ranger for $1,200 with the description 'farm fresh, slight moo smell, radio only gets AM.' The photos showed hay bales in the bed and a actual cow standing right next to it. He said the truck 'runs great unless you turn left, then it squeals like a pig.' I laughed so hard I almost missed my pickup window. My favorite line was 'no lowballers, I know what I have, it's a classic.' The comments were gold too, one guy asked if the cow came with it and the seller said 'no, she's my daughter's.' Has anyone else seen a listing where the seller just tells on themselves like that? I need more of these.
