Went looking for a quiet bench near the river in Spokane and found a free tool library in a church basement instead
Last Saturday I was trying to find a place to eat lunch in peace near the Spokane River and wandered into a church basement on a whim because the sign said open. Turns out it was a tool library where you can borrow a tile saw or a ladder for free with a library card, and the guy running it said they get maybe 15 people a week. What other towns have one of these hiding in plain sight, because I had no idea they existed.
