Update: the "secret" taco truck on 5th got found and it ruined my Tuesday lunch
Everyone on here keeps saying the best spots stay quiet, and I get it, but I think that's backwards for small food stands. The truck behind the hardware store on 5th was my spot for 3 years, always a 4 minute wait, always $3 for two tacos. Last month some big account with 80k followers posted it, and now the line is 40 minutes at noon and they ran out of al pastor by 12:30 twice last week. I talked to the owner, Marco, and he said he's happy but he's cooking 200 more tacos a day and can't keep up, so quality slipped. I've started going at 10:45 instead and telling exactly 3 friends, no more. If you find a spot like this, do you tell anyone at all, or keep it to yourself?
