The diner on 9th that closed in 2019 had a 3 dollar breakfast I still think about
Back in 2016 a buddy dragged me to this tiny counter spot in Springfield where the cook slid me a plate of eggs, potatoes and toast for 3 bucks and I ate there every Saturday for a year. The owner retired and the building turned into a vape shop, and now every new spot I try feels like it charges 14 dollars for the same thing with worse coffee. Anybody got a lead on an old school counter joint like that still hanging on somewhere?
