Shoutout to the 1997 Corn Cam site that still loads its one grainy image

I was poking around an old bookmark folder from a laptop I had in high school and found a link to a corn cam that a farm in Nebraska put up in 1997. I clicked it fully expecting a dead page, but it loaded, and the counter at the bottom says 41,293 visits. The page still has that spinning under construction gif and a guestbook where the newest entry is from 2003. What got me is there is a little text note saying the camera gets checked every morning at 6am, and the image date stamp shows today. So somebody out there has been feeding that thing for almost 30 years with basically no audience. Has anyone else run into a site like this that a single person is quietly keeping alive?
