Why I stopped trusting the moon landing photos and started looking at the shadows
Back in 2019 I was all in on the skeptics side, I watched every video and read every forum post about why it had to be fake. Then I got into photography as a hobby, nothing fancy just a used Canon and some cheap lenses. One night I was shooting my buddy's truck under a street light and noticed how the shadows fell. Long shadows from a low light source, completely parallel. That got me thinking about the Apollo 11 photos where the shadows seemed to go different ways. But here is the thing, when I actually tried to recreate those lighting conditions with a single light source and uneven ground, the shadows looked just as weird. All those years I was so sure about the conspiracy but I never once tested the basic physics myself. Has anyone else changed their mind on a big claim after trying to reproduce the evidence in their own garage or backyard?
