Three years ago my cousin showed me a video claiming birds aren't real and now half my family won't talk at Thanksgiving
It started at a cookout in Gary, Indiana in July 2022 when my cousin Marcus pulled up a 47 minute video saying the government replaced all birds with drones during the Cold War. My uncle bought it hook, line and sinker, but my sister pulled up a museum page about passenger pigeons going extinct in 1914 as a counterpoint. Now Marcus says the drones are why we never see certain birds anymore and my sister says that is just habitat loss. Is there any middle ground here or do we just pick a side and move on?
