Swapped my tin foil hats for aluminum ones after 2012 and never looked back
Back when the Mayan calendar panic was big I chose the cheap foil roll over the pre-shaped helmet and now after 13 years of wearing it in Arizona sun my ears still don't get that weird buzzing, but I gotta ask, has anyone else made that switch and noticed a difference in how the satellites track you?

Tucson here, and I gotta push back: the buzzing in your ears might just be from 13 years of sun damage, not the foil. Switching to aluminum actually makes it worse since it conducts way better than tin, so if anything the satellites get a cleaner signal off you now. The Mayan thing was a bust anyway, so blaming your ears on the calendar swap seems like a stretch.
