I think the whole flat earth thing is a psyop to make real conspiracies look dumb
Okay so I know this is gonna get me roasted here but hear me out. Back in 2019 I spent like 40 hours on YouTube and Reddit reading flat earth stuff, and the more I dug the more it felt off. Not the theory itself, I mean the people pushing it. Half the big accounts were weirdly well funded, posting studio quality videos with drones and stuff. Meanwhile actual stuff like the 2008 financial crash gets a 20 minute explainer from some guy in his basement. I started keeping a list of the top 15 flat earth channels and 11 of them had the same handful of backers or promo deals. That math does not sit right with me. My take is somebody wants us arguing about the shape of the planet so we ignore the stuff that actually hits our wallets. Does anyone else think the whole movement got boosted on purpose, or am I just seeing patterns that aren't there?
