Can we talk about how much harder it is to trace a rumor now than it was when I was passing around photocopied zines in the 90s?
Spent about 5 hours last Saturday trying to find where a claim about a local water plant actually started, and it just traced back to a screenshot of a screenshot with no name or date on it. Back then you could at least ask who handed you the paper, so how do you all deal with a source that's basically a ghost?
