Been noticing the city's water testing vans parked overnight for weeks...
They only show up after dark and leave before sunrise, which seems like a weird way to run a public check. Makes you wonder what they're really sampling for, doesn't it.

Water testing vans at night is actually pretty normal. They often check for things like pipe leaks or pressure changes when most people aren't using water. Daytime testing gets messed up by everyone showering and running dishwashers. The quiet hours give them a clear reading of the system itself. It's less about hiding something and more about getting good data.
