Honestly? It's just outdoor steps. Mine have been plain concrete for twenty years and nobody's ever slipped. I guess if you're really bored on a Saturday, but I'd rather just sweep them clean and be done with it. Seems like overthinking a simple thing.

Have you ever actually watched someone slip on wet steps? My aunt fell on her porch last year and broke her wrist. Concrete gets slick with moss or ice, not just water. Sure, sweeping helps, but that doesn't stop rain from making it dangerous. Why risk a hospital visit over something you can fix with a bit of grip tape? It seems short-sighted to call it overthinking when falls can cause real injuries.
