Question about that client who insisted their PC was haunted

Had a guy bring in a tower last Tuesday swearing it turned on by itself at 3 AM every night and I found a stuck power button on a cheap $5 case after 10 minutes. Has anyone else had a customer blame ghosts for something that turned out to be a simple hardware issue?

Did you try unplugging it and plugging it back in? That fixed my haunted PC.

$5 case? That is ABSOLUTELY wild. I literally had a client last year who brought in a PC that was "possessed" and said it made crying sounds at night. Turned out to be a dying fan bearing that was grinding against a loose piece of plastic. People REALLY want to believe in ghosts instead of admitting their gear is just cheap junk. The stuck power button thing is classic too. I've seen that so many times it's not even funny. At least you got to the bottom of it fast, some of these "hauntings" take hours to diagnose.
