Pro tip: Clear CMOS before declaring a motherboard dead

This brought back three 'dead' boards for me this month.

Watch people spend three hours troubleshooting, only to find the real issue was a jumper that moved two millimeters. It's basically the tech version of checking if something's plugged in before calling an electrician. I've lost track of how many "funerals" I've held for boards that just needed that thirty second reset. Makes you wonder if half of tech support is just telling people to turn things off and on again, but with more steps.

It's basically tech necromancy at this point. The most powerful tool in the box is still just restarting it.
