DAE think asking for recs in a Facebook group with 40k strangers is useless compared to 5 neighbors who actually live where you do
Posted in my city's huge community page for a plumber rec and got 200 comments of random names with zero context, but the 3 folks on my actual block in Eugene gave me the guy who showed up same day for $85 flat, so why do we keep trusting the giant groups over the people a few doors down?
