Heard a kid in Charlotte call my favorite comic run "old internet stuff" and I just stood there
I was flipping through back issues at a shop on Central Ave last Saturday and this 16 year old kid next to me pointed at a 90s X-Men run and asked his buddy why anyone would read "old internet stuff" when it's all on an app now. Back in my day we traded photocopied lists in the school hallway and waited a month for a shop to mail us a missing issue, so hearing that stung a bit but also made me laugh. Do younger fans actually skip older runs, or is that just one loud kid?
