Drove past a tiny coffee stand in Portland last weekend

I noticed they had a big sign saying 'single origin espresso $2.50' which is way cheaper than most places around here. The barista told me they roast their own beans in a shed out back and skip the middleman. Has anyone else found a hole-in-the-wall spot that actually saves you money on good coffee?

Bet they save a ton not paying for fancy packaging too...

yeah @brian_ward55 but $2.50 espresso probably tastes like burnt regret tbh.
