Warning: a guy in my intro to C# class spent 20 minutes naming his variables after his cats
Last Tuesday at the library meetup in Boulder, this older dude named every single variable after one of his 6 cats (Whiskers, Mittens, Sir Pounce, etc.) and kept whispering 'come on Whiskers, compile' under his breath. When the instructor asked why, he just said 'they keep me calm' and went back to typing. Has anyone else seen a beginner do something like this, or is my meetup just cursed?
