Vent: spent 2 days stuck on one Python error until I read the error message out loud
Kept getting a KeyError on line 47 of my scraper script and just stared at the code for two days trying stuff at random. My roommate heard me mumbling about it and told me to read the traceback out loud like a sentence, so I did and caught that I was using a string key on a dict that only had ints. Took 30 seconds after that. Does anyone else have a dumb trick like that for when you're totally stuck?
