Dropped $180 on a bootcamp that just told me to watch the same free YouTube tutorials I'd already found
Four weeks and six hundred bucks later, I'm sitting in a Discord full of people just as confused as me, so if you're about to pay for one of these, ask for the actual syllabus and a recorded lesson first, has anyone else gotten burned like this?

Buddy of mine paid 2 grand for a coding bootcamp and the main perk was access to a Slack channel where people just posted memes all day. He learned more from Stack Overflow in a weekend. Wild how these places charge real money for stuff you can google in five minutes.
