Our block's tree canopy went from 12 to 40 trees in 4 years, and summer on our street feels totally different now
Neighbors in our Phoenix cul-de-sac planted drought-tolerant shade trees through a city rebate program back in 2021, and last month my patio thermometer hit 108 instead of 115. Has anyone else seen a real temp drop from a block-level planting push, or is it mostly just the shade doing the work?
