Warning: a job in Boulder turned into a full day of pulling out a raccoon family

Got called for a simple cleaning, but found a nest with four kits and the mom got real defensive. Honestly, we had to stop work for three hours while animal control came and we helped them get everyone out safely. Has anyone else had a critter job that basically wrote off your whole schedule?

Full day of pulling out a raccoon family" is a whole mood. Saw a video once where a plumber found a possum family in a crawl space, total schedule killer.

Tell you what, my schedule killer is always bees. Got a call for a loose floorboard once and found a whole hive in the wall (like, a scary amount of bees). The day just evaporated while we figured that out, and I'm still a little jumpy around buzzing noises. Makes a raccoon crew seem almost polite, honestly.
