Appreciation post: I thought those flexible brush extensions were a gimmick

For years I stuck with my rigid rods, thinking anything else was just extra gear to haul. Then a job in an old farmhouse near Knoxville had a flue with three sharp bends. My boss handed me his set of flexible extensions and said 'just try it'. I got the whole thing done in under an hour, no fighting the angles. Anyone else have a tool they were wrong about?

My buddy's boss in Phoenix got one stuck in a low pitch roof. They had to cut a new access hole to get it back.
