Check if your credit card has purchase protection on stuff like this. Most people forget that perk even exists but a lot of cards add an extra year of warranty on top of whatever the maker gives you. So if the pump died at 15 uses and the sealer came with a 1 year warranty, your card might double it or at least cover the repair. You usually have to file a claim within 90 days of the breakdown and send in the receipt plus the original warranty paper. Takes like 20 minutes online and they cut you a check for the full $340 if it can't be fixed. Worth a shot before you just eat the loss.
