Question about the moment I found out I was bad at asking for help at work
Last month I was stuck on a vendor issue for 3 days and finally mentioned it to a coworker in passing. She said "why didn't you just ask me on Monday, I fixed that same thing in 20 minutes back in March." That hit me hard because I've always thought bugging people made me look bad. Now I'm wondering how many other things I sat on way too long out of pride. Has anyone else figured out a good way to tell when to ask versus when to keep digging?
