A founder in Kitchener asked me why we bootstrapped, and it made me rethink our whole raise
We were grabbing coffee at a place on King Street and she said she'd rather own 100% of a $2M shop than 20% of a $10M one, which is the opposite of what every accelerator down here pushes. Now I keep wondering if we're chasing a Series A just to look successful. Anyone else in the Canadian scene pick slow growth on purpose?
