Stopped bringing a chair on hikes and it changed everything
Most people pack those lightweight chairs for comfort, but sitting on a log or rock makes me feel more connected to the outdoors. I don't miss the extra weight at all.
That "dry, comfy spot every time" mindset sounds like bringing a sofa to a mountain. Sometimes you just gotta accept the log life, soggy jeans and all. It builds character, or at least weird tan lines.
