The 81 year old in Santa Fe who counted my dovetails out loud at a gas station
I was loading a walnut drawer box into the truck outside a gas station on Cerrillos Road when this older guy walked up and started counting my pins and tails right there on the tailgate. He got to 14 and stopped, then asked why I went odd on the spacing instead of even, and I didn't have a real answer for him. He just nodded and walked off with his coffee before I could ask his name. Now I'm second guessing every layout I chalk out, so does anyone here actually go even on purpose or is odd just how it lands?
