That shelf pin jig fight took me 6 hours and a lot of bad words
I was drilling 32mm holes for adjustable shelving in maple veneer ply and the bit kept wandering on the first two rows, ruining three panels before I figured out the bushing was loose. Took me a full afternoon to catch it, has anyone else had a jig part fail mid-run and just assume it was operator error?

Man, that bushing thing gets everyone at least once. Same thing happened to me with a cheap kit, the sleeve spun free and chewed up half a sheet of birch. Six hours feels about right, especially when you keep blaming your own setup. I'd say check the locking screw before every single run now, not just when it feels wrong. Maybe it's just me but the cheap jigs always need way more babysitting than the pricey ones.
