My grandpa in Cheboygan swore by oiling the hinges on his 40-year-old garage door twice a year, and I laughed until mine seized at 12 degrees
He used plain 3-in-1 and a rag, nothing fancy, and that door outlasted two of my "maintenance-free" openers, so has anyone here actually had luck with the newer sealed bearing rollers or is oil still the move?
