My butter robot meme got 12 likes and I'm convinced the algorithm hates tiny existential dread
I spent two nights making a butter robot meme where he's staring at a butter dish with the caption 'is this all there is' and posted it to three groups. It got 12 likes total, and 8 of those were from my cousin in Tulsa. Then I saw a butter robot dancing to a Drake song get 4,000 shares. I get it, simple sells, but are we really just rewarding the dancing robot over the one having a real crisis? What meme format actually gets the butter bot's sad little face to land with people?
