Butter bot meme template died mid-edit, had to rebuild from scratch

Was making a 3-panel meme at 2am on my laptop in a coffee shop in Portland, and the file corrupted right as the punchline landed. I redrew the whole thing in about 20 minutes using just Paint and my phone's screenshot tool, it came out way better. Anyone else lose a perfect edit and end up with something funnier by accident?
