Just realized my music app thinks I'm a 12-year-old girl because of one song I played for my niece
I played the Encanto soundtrack once for my niece in the car three months ago, and now my entire Discover Weekly is Disney princess songs and tween pop. I spent about two hours last Saturday trying to clean it up, blocking artists, hitting the dislike button on every track, and nothing worked because the app just keeps sliding back to "We Don't Talk About Bruno" remixes. I even made a new playlist of just metal to try to reset the thing, and it recommended a "metal covers of Disney songs" playlist instead. My brother in law works in data and says the algorithm weighs solo listens with kids in the car way too heavy compared to my normal stuff. Has anyone actually fixed a streaming profile like this or do I just need to start over with a new account?
