Rant: My usual brake shop in Akron messed up my rotors twice

Took my 2012 Civic in for a routine pad swap last month and they came back with a wobble at 55 mph. Second visit they blamed the caliper, charged me $190 extra, but the shake was still there. Turned out the new rotors were warped out of the box, had to drive to a shop in Kent to get it fixed for real. Anyone else had a chain shop double down on a bad parts batch instead of just checking the warranty?
