Spent 3 days chasing one missing flyer off a laundromat board in Boise, and I have thoughts
So there is this laundromat on State Street in Boise that always has the best board, tons of bands, roommates wanted, weird stuff. About 3 months ago I took a photo of this hand drawn flyer for a missing gray cat named Biscuit with a little drawing of the cat on it, and when I went back to get a better shot the next day the flyer was GONE. Just vanished, no tear marks, nothing. I spent the next 3 days going back at different times, asking the lady working there (she had no clue), even checked the boards at the grocery store and the library two blocks over thinking someone moved it. Total time wasted: probably 4 trips and a full Saturday afternoon. Turns out the owner of the cat came back and took every copy down because Biscuit came home, which is great for them but it killed my best find of the month. Anyway, do you all try to track down the person when a flyer disappears, or is once it is off the board it is gone forever? I still think about that cat.
