Picked the wrong day to read the cork board at the hardware store

Went in for a single lightbulb and got stuck for 20 minutes reading all those handwritten cards. Had to decide between a guy offering to fix my deck for $100 cash and a licensed contractor for $400. I went with the $100 guy. He showed up late, used half a bag of screws, and the deck still wobbles. Should have just paid the extra $300.
