I finally tried that hot springs trip from a laundromat flyer

So I was at the laundromat and spotted this torn flyer for a cheap bus tour to some hot springs. Ended up going last weekend, and it was pretty relaxing, though the bus broke down twice on the way back. Kind of a hassle, but the hot springs were worth it, I guess. What other hidden travel gems have you guys found pinned up around town? I'm always scanning boards now for ideas.

The community center bulletin board had a handwritten note for a kayak rental spot that was surprisingly good.
