Appreciation post: That pinned flyer at the library coffee shop saved me $40

Saw a hand-written flyer on the cork board near the checkout desk at the downtown branch. Some guy was offering to fix leaky faucets for free if you just bought the parts. I was about to call a plumber for my kitchen sink that had been dripping for 3 months. Called the number, he showed up, fixed it in 20 minutes with a $12 washer. That flyer saved me what would have been at least a $50 service fee. Have any of you found legit help on a random bulletin board?

Wait it was only a $50 service fee lol plumbers around here charge like $150 just to show up.

Found a local guy who does it for $40 and he's great.
